QVC/HSN+ tapped Junk Drawer to develop and produce a series that would bring to life furniture and decor from sister company Ballard Designs "out in the wild."
Commerce met format in Design School, where Ballard’s product line became the solution to real viewer design dilemmas inside gorgeous designer homes. Junk Drawer conceptualized and produced eight 30-minute episodes, two dozen short forms for social media, and captured product and talent-centric photography to support the series.
Companion shoppable pages were created for Ballard's website, comparable products were shown to viewers in-app and on TV during the broadcast, and scannable QR codes were baked into the series, ensuring viewers could shop and watch simultaneously. "Design School" was a top-performing series for the network and laid critical groundwork for the expansion of its programming.
